Anchorage. The kids love to go and play, or should I say, get some
energy out. What would a stay at home mom do without public parks?

Mom after Girls Camp

Here is Trina after a grueling week at girls camp. Meanwhile dad is
home watching movies and eating bon bons.

B-Day Party

Here we are enjoying a parachute at a B-Day party. We have not had too
many sunny days this summer to get out and enjoy, so we really have
learned to take advantage when we can.

Fishing in AK the EASY way

Some guys I met in the singles ward a few years back, invited me to go out to their fish wheel with them this past weekend. For those of you who don't know, in Alaska you can use these fish wheels to "harvest" salmon on the Copper River. This has got to be the easiest way to fish I have ever seen, besides going to the store and just buying the fish. We had a great time hanging out by the campfire and exploring Wrangell St. Elias National Park, while the fish wheel collecting some awesome Copper River Salmon. We almost got as many Kings as we did Reds. The biggest king we got was this 44" 65 lb er. These are the moments I am reminded why I still live up here.

Sydney's First Bike

Our little girl got her first bike and boy is she cute riding it. We got the bike from a friend for $6.00, because my wife is such a good bargain shopper. So after we got the bike, we realized that we needed the safety gear, which ended up costing us around $50.00 because of course we had to buy Dayton his own set. A few days after we got the bike, we found out that Dayton knows how to ride it just as good, if not better than Sydney.
