Sydney's Pick

As both Sydney and Dayton have grown out of almost every second hand
shoe we've been given, it was time to go to Payless. This was one of
Sydney's favorite picks. Needless to say, we didn't bring them home.
Few!!!

Dayton at one point in the 'trying on' process said, 'I'm going to
pick out what I want', to which I found myself laughing and saying,
"when you're 18 and paying for your own things, you can pick out
whatever you want.'
It was one of those classis Bobbie Jackson 'mothering' moments where I
just had to laugh out loud.
Sometimes you just can't argue with good logic!!! :)

Dave's Commercial Photography on Display at Home Show

After doing several shoots for Alaska's Best Kitchens magazine, the
designers and homeowners fell in love with him and his work. One Of A
Kind Design purchased nearly every large print that you see on the
wall behind him. They were beautiful. I personaly like Dave's
commercial work the best. This is the home show here in Anchorage,
Alaska at the Sullivan Arena.

I've redone a few things around the house since these photos but I think if I wait for perfection, I'll never move forward.  It will be fun to have a record of what our little home looked like.  We've lived here for 2 1/2 years and have had the best years of our marriage here.  I also potty trained my kids and watched them turn into preschoolers.  I'll miss this home.  We became a family here.  :)

Christmas at Alyeska

Uncle Martin brought the family to Alyeska over Christmas break and we
had a great time. Thanks for being so generous and thoughtful. :)

had to jump in a few of them. And no, I didn't put them up for sale.
They just love to have their picture taken wether dressed for the day
or not. :)

We celebrated during play group and let the kids decorate their own

Dave works around the clock which means getting to spend a Saturday
with him is a real treat. We used Sydney and Dayton's Birthday money
(lol) and got to go on several rides, play a fishing game and of
course, bought the monster bag of cotton candy. Yum!
