I took Daemon to Wonder Park in Wasilla while accompanying Dave to the valley for a photo shoot and we had a blast. This is by far, the coolest park I've ever been too.

Hollywood Squares

The young woman of our ward invited me along with several other adults to be Hollywood stars for the evening. I went as Hannah Montana and am in the center. It was a lot of fun trying to stay in character. I had to do a few late night viewings of the show since I had never seen it before. I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed being sassy. :)

I've waited a really long time to have an updated living space. And as it happens - THIS WAS MY YEAR!!! I prayed that the Lord would help me find good deals so that my dollars would stretch and I could help make our house a 'Home'. No doubt did the lord come through. I found a most beautiful couch set for $200 from craigslist. I rented a Uhaul and went out to Wasilla with Dave to get them without even having seen them other than a photo. I just knew they were the ones. Upon arrival, with much anticipation, I found that they were far more beautiful than expected. I know that the Lord had His hand in this as I have scoured craigslist for years and know what good couch sets go for. I also feel like Heavenly Father took my individuality into consideration and helped guide me to something I would like and that would be kid friendly. I also feel blessed to have come upon other good deals and am so happy to finally have an updated family living space. We are all enjoying it immensely. I wake up to feed the baby and find that I'm so excited that I just can't sleep. We are hanging curtain rods soon and will be adding a few additional touches throughout the next few weeks. This evening, Sydney, Dayton, friends and I lit our carved pumpkins and enjoyed the flicker of the candles for a few moments before bed. They were a great addition to our new entryway this evening. Many Autumn Blessings to our friends and family wherever you may be.

We've got an Uncle Martin in the family

Yesterday I caught Sydney selling a flosser to Dayton for a dime. It reminded me of Uncle Martin selling lemons to his siblings who couldn't reach the fruitful limbs. :) I also caught her say the following today. 'Who bumped into me? Dayton was it you? Whoever bumped into me owes me a dollar!' I had to laugh at that one. She's very creative when it comes to 'earning' money. Wonder if she'll be an entrepreneur?

Daemon fell asleep while watching TV with his dad and snuggling his special sheep. We are all so in love with him. He's just so cute.

While at a friend's house for brownies last night, our host's husband took out his camera and grabbed a few shots of Daemon.  He's probably the easiest kid to photograph since he's all grins, sweet, and so much fun.  Wish we would take more. For the last few days he's been taking as many as 5 and 6 small 'shuffle' steps and he's into EVERYTHING.  Last night while cooking dinner, he got a box of angel hair pasta roni out and emptied the entire box on the floor, then proceeded to break them into bits, one by one.  However, I'm not sure what's worse, crunching pasta roni noodles while cooking or listening to his quartet chorus of pot and pan banging including bread pans, cake pans, muffin tins and pie plates.  Good thing he's got such a cute smile other, wise this little turkey just might be in trouble with his momma.

Apparently Sydney wanted to sit with Dad in the booth. She worked hard to fill out a chart at home and decided that she wanted her prize to be a date with Dad when it was complete. She can be a lot of fun. :)

New Photo Equipment

'Simple Family Life' video to be posted soon using Dave's new videography gear with a slider. This is going to put Dave as the first professional Real Estate Photographer in Alaska to offer videography as an option for marketing a home. Videography is the future for Real Estate marketing and Dave is the first to take the plunge. I am so proud if him and his ability to stay on the cutting edge of technology. Dave M. Davis Photography is finally starting to get some traction. Can't wait to see where this new addition takes us. Thank you Dave for all of your hard work to maintain finances for the family while working diligently at your business. You've worked so hard and I think it's just about to really start paying off.
