Owning a condo can have it's perks as well as make life really hard, but that does not stop this dedicated gardener. Trina grew up with a garden her whole life. She spent her summer days weeding, and weeding, and weeding some more. She really grew to appreciate it. When we moved in to our condo that did not stop her from gardening wherever she could. It is so fun to see her get so excited over these little green things sprouting out of the baskets hanging three stories up. I guess it really does not matter where you live but how you live.

Daddy Daughter Time

Sydney asked me last night at dinner if she could come with me on the
paper route in the morning, so at 3 am she was up and on the route
having a blast. We saw these two cute bunnies. They ran away when we
got too close. I guess Sydney just missed her dad :) -Dave

1st Family Bike Ride

For Dave's Birthday, I found him a nice bike from a garage sale. He
mounted his camera on the front and away we went. Alaska's sunny
weather so far is definitiely making up for a long and arduous winter.
I actually have my roller blades on instead of a bike. Fun, Fun! :-)

Quality Time

Dave drug me out to do the paper with him this morning since Aunt
Brandy was in town and could watch the kids. It's amazing that at 4am
it's light out. Thanks hunny. I had fun. :-)

Clean Bathrooms

Today was a special day at the Davis Residence. I managed to clean
not one, but BOTH our bathrooms from top to bottom. The kids are
still alive and well, and I am happy to report that neither caught the
house on fire while undergoing this extensive project. Later in the
day, Sydney needed to go tinkle, and thinking she would be as glad as
I was to have a sparkling clean bathroom, I chuckled when she came out
and said, "Mom, I don't like it when you make the bathroom dirty with
all that cleaning stuff."
You know, you just can't please everyone. :-)

Sunday Reading

There is something so sweet about seing your kids sit down together
and read from the Friend. Sydney makes up the cutest stories since she
can't actually read. These are the special moments that make families
so fun.
